Job Description

Job Summary:

The API Account Manager (AAM) role is critical to the overall success of ATC and our API customers. The API Account Manager will leverage their extensive knowledge of the DMV ecosystem and ATC resources to ensure the success of their assigned customers. The ideal candidate will be able to engage with our API customers on both the tactical and strategic level to deepen the impact and relationship between the two organizations. It will be critical for the AAM to work cross-functionally, incorporating internal ATC resources to ensure our customers success in using ATC data.

Duties/Responsibilities:

·         Own overall relationship with API customers, identifying key stakeholders and building relationships with influencers and the core team interacting with our solutions

·         Collaborate closely with ATC Data team to ensure customer’s data questions are addressed in a timely fashion

·         Conduct customer health checks, identifying critical goals and key performance indicators to clearly understand and measure client satisfaction

·         Engage in regular customer outreach including quarterly review/meetings, ongoing checkpoints and escalations as needed

·         Provide consultative guidance on best practices for deep API adoption, data capabilities and potential application to customer’s requirements

·         Enable successful and consistent renewals, consistently meeting renewal goals, as well as identify and execute on new growth and upsell opportunities with customers

·         Identify and open up new lines of business within existing client organizations

·         Evaluate and invoice clients on a monthly basis

·         Work with our engineering and product teams to translate customer feedback into product insights

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Salesforce or related software.
  • Creative and inventive.
  • Ability to compile, analyze, and communicate data.
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship building skills.
  • High emotional intelligence  
  • Desire to learn (more) technical and the ability to learn the ins and outs of ATC API’s
  • Excitement to work in a high-growth environment and to help build processes and tools as needed
  • Ability to work with all types of people and build long-lasting relationships

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3-5 years in Account Management.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • This position may be in office, or remote at times
  • Travel needs of up to 15%.
